My last semester at WKU, I accepted a job at a local private school, Dayspring Academy, teaching a Chemistry class. When I graduated, I was offered a scholarship to earn my Chemistry PhD at UT Knoxville, but I decided to become a teacher. I remained at Dayspring Academy, where I now teach Chemistry, Geometry, and other various math and science courses for both middle and high school.
I tutor for the same reason I became a teacher. I feel that there is no job more rewarding than to help a child or young adult grow. The best moments in teaching are those when you see the light bulb go off in a youth's mind. Knowing that I have the opportunity to positively affect someone's life means a lot to me. I work to find the gap in knowledge that is preventing the young man or woman from achieving excellence in their science or math class. When we find and close the gap, we can then watch the student succeed.
HobbiesI am a big Green Bay Packers fan. I enjoy doing anything with people, but nothing very extravagant. I like to get a group and go out to dinner, and maybe bowling afterwards. I also enjoy sitting in and watching a movie just as much.

Daniel has been the best tutor I've ever had. In about three hours, he taught me three chapters of Organic Chemistry and I actually understood it, which is near impossible. Plus, I would text him right before every General Chemistry test and he would clarify any questions that I had, which led to much better grades on my part. All in all, he's an awesome tutor and an awesome person. Definitely call him! You won't regret it!
The tutoring went great. My son said his tutor explained how to solve the Chemistry math problems better than his Chemistry teacher.
